Induction details for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Engineering.

Welcome to all new Engineering students for 2022/23

School induction for new students will take place in the week commencing Monday 26 September, ready for teaching to start the following week on Monday 3 October.

Attendance at these initial School sessions is strongly advised, especially if you have not been to University before. You will have a chance to meet others from your course, meet some academic staff, ask questions of current students, and start to find your way around the buildings.

All School induction sessions for new undergraduate and MSc students will take place in the Queen’s Buildings, just off Newport Road (postcode CF24 3AA).

Detailed induction timetables will be emailed to you closer to the time, and posted on our Student Handbook on Learning Central, our virtual learning environment. But the outline of the induction programme for each student group can be found below.
