Congratulations on securing a place to study at the School of Dentistry; we look forward to welcoming you in September.
Induction sessions are designed to help you learn more about the School of Dentistry, Cardiff University and its relationship with the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board.
These sessions will also explain what your first few weeks and months as a student will look like and what is expected of you as a dental professional. Further information on professional standards, behaviour and conduct is available on the General Dental Council website.
Below are the induction schedules for BDS Dental Surgery students, Dental Therapy and Hygiene students, and postgraduate students. Please note that attendance is compulsory.
DipHE Dental Hygiene and BSc Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene (Year one)
