09:30 – 12:00 | Visit to the NSA building in Newport | NSA building, Newport |
How to get to the NSA building in Newport
The easiest way to get to the NSA building in Newport is by train. We’ll start at Cathays station (which is next to Abacws). Catch any train that stops at Cardiff Central station. The train will normally stop at platform 7 or 8. Use the tunnel to make your way to platforms 1 and 2.
From here, you can catch several trains that stop at Newport. Trains to London, Nottingham, Manchester, North Wales and the South West will all stop at Newport. When you arrive at Newport station, you will typically alight on platform 3 or 4. Go up the stairs and follow the signs for platform 1, then exit with the south exit. Turn left and walk past the bus stops.
There is construction work (of a new footbridge) just past the bus stops and the entrance to the NSA building is behind the safety barriers.
Mandatory Training
You are required to complete both Health and Safety (H&S) and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) training. These are both available online.
You may use the NSA teaching spaces to complete this training after 1pm.
You are welcome to complete the training on your own device as well.
