Computer Science and Informatics

We look forward to welcoming all students to the School this September.

Here you will find all the information you'll need for enrolment and induction for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

For those of you returning for another academic year, we hope you are looking forward to starting the new semester as much as we are.

Students who have studied elsewhere and are coming to Cardiff University for their final two years should attend both the Year 1 and Year 2 Computer Science induction days.

Finding your way around

Cardiff

All Cardiff-based induction activities will take place in Queen’s Buildings or Trevithick. Please refer to our campus map for information. All rooms are referenced by block/floor and room number. For example, room S/1.32 is room 32 on the 1st floor of the South block.

Newport

All Newport-based induction activities will take place at the National Software Academy (NSA), Queensway, Newport. It is conveniently located next to the Newport train station. The NSA rooms are on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.

General enquiries

For all general enquiries please contact the School Office which is open from 9:00-12:30 and 13:30-16:30 from Monday to Friday. You can leave the Office a voicemail outside of these hours.
