IT services and digital community

If you are a new student or have an unregistered device, we highly recommend preconfiguring all your wireless devices to use eduroam before you arrive. So, when you arrive, the Wi-Fi just works.

After enrolling you will have access to the student intranet where you will find a range of IT support, tools and resources to help in your study, including access to free anti-virus software and a free subscription to Microsoft Office 365 while you're studying here.

You can also access the University-wide wireless network, computer suites, training and workshops, and software and applications on your personal device.

We recommend that all personal devices running the Windows operating system have Windows 10 installed, as Windows 7 is no longer supported. For more information on upgrading your license to Windows 10 on your personal devices after you arrive, please contact the IT Service Desk.
