Gradd Meistr Integredig
Mae'r cynnwys hwn ar gael yn Saesneg yn unig.
Our integrated master’s degrees are aimed at aspiring researchers or those seeking a career in science.
With training in advanced research techniques and an extended research project on a topic of your choice, our integrated master's courses allow you to explore the frontiers of knowledge in your chosen field, and provide an excellent platform for further study or a career in research.
We offer integrated master's degrees in four subjects:
|Enw’r radd||Côd UCAS|
|Gwyddorau Biofeddygol (MBiomed)||51T8|
|Gwyddorau Biolegol (MBiol)||L9Y7|
All of our integrated master's degrees are available with a sandwich year which is spent on placement in a professional or academic research environment.
|Enw’r radd||Cymhwyster||Côd UCAS|
|Biocemeg gyda Blwyddyn Hyfforddiant Proffesiynol||MBiochem||873C|
|Gwyddorau Biofeddygol gyda Blwyddyn Hyfforddiant Proffesiynol||MBiomed||52G9|
|Gwyddorau Biolegol gyda Blwyddyn Hyfforddiant Proffesiynol||MBiol||6FK9|
|Niwrowyddoniaeth gyda Blwyddyn Hyfforddiant Proffesiynol||MNeuro||4K5G|
The first two years of our integrated master's courses follow the same structure as our BSc programmes.
In the third year, you will learn how to apply core knowledge to solve scientific problems and to critically evaluate models, ideas and current debates. You will also receive training in advanced research techniques and bioinformatics.
Along with further training in advanced research methods, your final year will include an extended independent research project in an active research laboratory. This novel project may contribute towards a publication in a scientific journal, or trigger a whole new avenue of subsequent research. You will be trained and supported in carrying out your project by researchers, helping you to develop your skills as a practical research scientist.
The high degree of subject specialisation and knowledge gained during this year will enhance your employability in both research and commercial bioscience sectors.
How to apply
You can apply for one of our integrated master's degrees via UCAS.
Alternatively, you can choose to transfer to the integrated master’s programme at the end of year two, subject to availability and academic progress.
