Why study French?

On completion of a four year course in French you will be able to use your new language skills to work in many countries. French is an official language of 29 countries and all United Nations agencies. It is considered the international language of diplomacy, and is second only to English in its influence. Year abroad options

The third year of this course offers a fantastic opportunity to live in a French-speaking environment. Students will work as a paid teaching assistant in a French school, attend a French university in famous cities such as Paris, Montpellier, Toulouse, Nantes, Grenoble, Chambéry or Clermont-Ferrand or undertake a work placement.
