Types of projects

We aim to source and allocate particular types of projects into specific semesters, to compliment the students’ learning and maximise the skills and abilities of the cohort for the project clients.

In brief, these are the general projects we seek for each semester. See on the following pages for more information:

Year 1	Semester 1 (autumn semester) Simple web-app project
Year 2	Semester 1 (autumn semester) Data-driven, secured web applications
Year 3	Semester 2 (spring semester) Development, delivery, and deployment of a Large Team project Hackathon (end-of-February) Three-day hackathon challenge utilising emerging technologies
MSc	Semester 1 (autumn semester) Creation of web pages, web services and database access Summer Project Development, delivery, and deployment of a significant team project
