Support for disabled students

Last updated: 18/08/2025 11:38

How we can support you throughout your time at university - from access requirements, to learning support and funding options

Starting university is a big step. We’re here to help make that transition as smooth as possible.

Our Student Disability Service supports students with one or more of the following:

  • physical or sensory impairments
  • long-term health or mental health conditions
  • autism spectrum conditions
  • specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia)

You may identify as disabled, or prefer not to use labels. Whatever you choose, we’re committed to creating an inclusive learning environment - one where you can study as independently and confidently as possible.
