Our orientation programme, Cardiff Unlocked, is for all new students and includes everything you should know to make sure you have the best time possible studying with us.

It includes useful information on:

  • peer support
  • personal tutors
  • managing your money
  • your Cardiff community
  • your mental health and wellbeing.

Cardiff Unlocked is divided into sections known as ‘decks’, with specific sections for international students, postgraduate students, and students studying at our Heath Park campus.

Completing Cardiff Unlocked

We recommend you complete the orientation programme before you arrive on campus to be fully prepared for student life. In early September, you'll receive an email from welcome@cardiff.ac.uk with a unique. As your Cardiff Unlocked link is specific to you, make sure you only access it from the link in your email. Complete each deck in whichever order you’d like.
