Academi Gymraeg Betty Campbell Scholarship
The Betty Campbell Scholarship offers to fund up to £1,000 to eligible students studying through the medium of Welsh.

The scholarship is open to all students who are studying 20 credits or more through the medium of Welsh and we particularly encourage students who may face obstacles or uncertainty with respect to studying through the medium of Welsh at university level.
In naming this new award for 2023, we aim to pay tribute to a remarkable individual for whom inclusivity was inherent to all her work in education and who dedicated her life to fighting inequality. We aim to ensure that her values, and her enthusiasm for Wales, its history and culture as part of Cardiff’s global story are an inspiration for our work in Yr Academi Gymraeg.
