Tuition fees
The fee you pay covers all tuition fees, essential course costs, registration and exams.
Your fee status will determine how much you pay:
- UK students
- Island (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) students
- EU students
- International (overseas) students
If you are unsure which status applies to you (UK, Island, EU or international), take a look at our fee status page.
Paying tuition fees
Your personal liability (total fee less any grants or sponsorship) can be paid either by taking out a tuition fee loan (eligible UK and EU only) repayable on completion of your course, or by one of the payment options that we offer.
Funding
Funding is available to eligible students towards the cost of tuition fees, depending on where you live before starting your course. Check our loans and grants pages for more information.
Asylum seeker fee waiver
We currently offer a tuition fee waiver for undergraduate asylum seekers who apply for admission to the University. Find out more about support for asylum seekers.
Fee and access plan
Under the Higher Education (Wales) Act 2015, we are required to develop a fee and access plan each year, and invest a proportion of undergraduate fee income on fee and access plan activity.
