Open Days or visits to the University

School and college groups are welcomed at our Open Day and there are specific events held for visiting teachers and advisers. Our Open Days will give your students a chance to gain first-hand experience of the University and the city.

Widening participation

We are committed to supporting students in Wales through the transition from school and college to higher education. We run a range of programmes and activities to raise aspirations and promote higher education to traditionally under-represented groups in Wales. These are primarily offered to students in years 10 to 13.

Higher Education Roadshow

We work in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University to raise awareness and promote the benefits of higher education through HE Roadshow assemblies, which are delivered to year 10 and 11 students in Welsh schools.
