Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication

Last updated: 11/09/2023 14:23

For many university systems, including email, Office 365, and remote access to applications, you will need to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure your data is protected.

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your university account by verifying your sign-in via another device. It’s an important part of protecting your personal data.

It is important that you set up two different methods of authentication so that, if something happens to one of your devices, you will be able to use another to ensure that you can access your account.

Search 'MFA' on the student intranet for step-by-step instructions.
