Professor Thomas Connor

advISO project lead. Tom is Professor of Bioinformatics and Microbial Genomics at Cardiff University's School of Biosciences and Head of Public Health Genomics Unit at Public Health Wales

Professor Alan Christoffels

Alan, Director of the South African Medical Research Council Bioinformatics Unit, will play a key role in engaging institutes and organisations to join the project as pilot sites

Dominique, as Senior Researcher and Biocollection Informatics Team Lead at the South African National Bioinformatics Institute, will contribute to the project by supporting training, delivery, engagement, and resource testings

Dr Alice Matimba

Alice, as Head of Training and Global Capacity at Wellcome Connecting Science, is leading the training component of the advISO-project

Dr Kevin Howe

Kevin is leading the Malaria work on the project, within his role as Head of Analysis Ready Data at Sanger

Peter van Heusden

Peter, a Senior Bioinformatician at the South African National Bioinformatics Institute, is leading the tuberculosis research efforts of advISO
