Future launches

In 2027, the adviso framework will expand to include:

  • advISO pathway. A new system for bioinformatics competencies for medical laboratories.
  • advISO innovation. A self-certification tool to allow medical laboratories to accredit end-to-end processes.
  • advISO navigator. Working with end users in LMICs to test, refine and implement the developed frameworks, to include best practice guidelines.

Each element targets accreditation of bioinformatics pathogen genomic services. The framework will support the development of bioinformaticians in accredited settings.
