Channel Islands and Isle of Man undergraduate fees

Tuition fees are payable to Cardiff University for each year of your course (including repeat years).

The annual fee covers:

  • all tuition fees
  • essential course costs
  • registration and examinations (except for the re-taking of examinations by applicants not currently registered).

Charges for University accommodation are not included in the tuition fee.

Funding may be available towards the cost of your tuition fees. Visit our funding pages for more information.

2024 entry

Welsh Government has lifted the tuition fee cap in Wales from 2024/25, bringing it into line with the fees charged at English universities. This means universities in Wales will now be able to increase the annual tuition fee limit they charge from £9,000 to £9,250 per year.

Pending final approval in April, Cardiff University will implement this change to fees for applicable students from the 2024/25 academic year.

Channel Isles and Isle of Man students will be eligible for ‘home’ fee status for the academic year 2024/25.
