IT and equipment

Last updated: 11/08/2025 09:31

What you’ll need for your studies.

As we use a blended approach to teaching, it’s important that you have the right equipment for both in-person and online learning.

You’ll need:

  • a reliable desktop or laptop (Windows 11 or macOS 13 Ventura)
  • speakers or headphones, a webcam, and a microphone
  • a stable internet connection (at least 5Mb/s download speed)

Tablets are great as a second device, but we don’t recommend using one as your only device for studying.

All students get free access to Microsoft Office and antivirus software once you’ve enrolled.

If you're worried about covering the cost of essential equipment, support may be available through our Money Support Programme once you’ve enrolled.
