Return to Practice

This programme is available to qualified nurses and health visitors who have a lapsed registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) (2008), or those nurses who require the opportunity to refresh and update their knowledge and skills following a period of absence from nursing.

The aim of the programme is to enable nurses to achieve the confidence and competence to deliver quality patient centred care in a supported environment and safely return to nursing practice.

The programme consists of one 30 credit module which is available at level 5 (diploma level) or level 6 (degree level), depending on previous academic qualifications delivered over 15 weeks and comprises of 150 hours theory and 150 hours clinical practice.

We are now considering applicants for September 2014 entry.
