Integrated master's degrees

An integrated master's programme in the UK is a four or five-year undergraduate degree that combines bachelor's and master's level study into a  single, continuous programme.

It is designed for students who want to go deeper into their subject from the start and who are likely to pursue a career requiring advanced knowledge or research skills.

An integrated master's degree is a final qualification at Level 7* in the UK. At Cardiff University it is classed as an undergraduate award. Most courses take four years to complete, although some can last five years if they include a work placement or a year studying abroad.
