Supporting researchers

Our researchers have access to a wide range of resources which allow them to achieve their research ambitions.

From development programmes and cutting-edge facilities to a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion, we support our researchers in a variety of ways.

Each member of our University Executive Board champions a protected characteristic, and we were the first UK university named a Living Wage Champion, in 2015. We came 10th on the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index’s Top 100 Employers 2020, making us the highest-ranking UK university for LGBT+ workplace equality.
