HCT139 - Musculoskeletal Diagnosis and Treatment

Through this module students will be empowered to question and critically examine their own physiotherapy practices when it comes to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

This module aims to develop an understanding of the role of physiotherapy in the management of musculoskeletal conditions in line with current evidence. Underpinning the theoretical framework is the development of patient centred care, and clinical reasoning skills.

The increased knowledge and skills will enable students to critically evaluate clinical practice and to initiate change based on contemporary evidence.
