Applying for Level 7 modules

Applications to study standalone modules in the School of Healthcare Sciences must be made through our online application system.

Application deadlines

To ensure that the admissions and enrolment process is smooth we have an application deadline of 31 July for modules starting in the autumn (September and October) and 30 November for modules starting in the spring (January or February).

Specific application requirements

As well as the online application above you will be expected to submit a supplementary application form to the admissions team at hcarepgtadmissions@cardiff.ac.uk for the following modules:

  • Advanced Clinical Practice Portfolio (HCT 353)
  • Advanced Assessment of the Child and Young Person (HCT372)
  • Advanced Clinical Assessment for Healthcare Professionals (HCT181)
  • Musculoskeletal Advanced Practice First Contact Practitioner (HCT 348)

Applicants will be expected to provide two references and a personal statement reflecting their clinical and personal developmental requirements. They must have the support of their line manager and Designated Supervisory Mentor.
