In May 2013 the Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences held an Interprofessional Education Conference.
The one day conference covered important issues around patient safety and how working together can improve prescribing. The conference was open to anyone involved or interested in the interprofessional education and training of students and practitioners in healthcare education.
Speakers included Dr Ruth Hussey OBE, Chief Medical Officer for Wales and Professor John Bligh, Dean of Medical Education in the School of Medicine.
