Projects

Our broad range of research interests allows us to undertake a variety of research projects.

Our research is funded by grants totalling around £14M per year from a wide range of major funders, including the Research Councils (BBSRC, EPSRC, MRC and NERC), Cancer Research UK, Arthritis Research UK, the Wellcome Trust and the EU (Horizon 2020).

WeWash brings together the expertise of Cardiff University, Bangor University, Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) and Public Health Wales (PHW) to monitor the levels of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewaters in Wales.
