Research Interests
Stress, coping & burnout in community mental health nurses, stress management for mental health professionals, stress in student nurses and clinical supervision.
Career Overview
I have over 10 years experience as a health services researcher with a focus on quantitative methodology. I have published widely in nursing journals on stress, burnout and coping in the mental health professions with a particular interest in community mental health nurses. In the future I am interested in investigating clinical supervision and its impact on patient outcomes.
Teaching Profile
I teach research methodology on the Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) Programme, Higher Education Programme in Healthcare, Bachelor of Midwifery (Hons).
