Masters students visited Cardiff from British University in Dubai

Dubai Visit

As part of the collaborative agreement between Cardiff University's Welsh School of Architecture (WSA) and the British University in Dubai (BUiD), 26 Masters students visited Cardiff on 16th June accompanied by two members of staff from BUiD.

The trip was organised to include a visit to the Senedd (National Assembly for Wales) where the group met The Minister of Natural Resources and Food, Alun Davies, who had also visited Dubai recently.

The group was accompanied by Prof. Walter Gear - Dean of International for the College of Physical Sciences, Richard Cotton - Director of Cardiff University's International Office, Prof. Phillip Jones and Dr. Heba Elsharkawy from the WSA. The BUiD students spent time at the WSA with members of staff and students and had an excellent time getting to learn about studying and living in Cardiff.
