Open Day will run from 09:00-16:00 and you are welcome to come and go as you please throughout the day.
On arrival in Cardiff, please make your way to the University’s Main Building to register your attendance and collect an information pack.
Staff and students (wearing University t-shirts) will also be available as you arrive to provide further advice and guidance.
The programme will be available closer to the date of our next Open Day.
All buildings on the Cathays Campus are within easy walking distance of each other. We also run a free shuttle bus services between the following locations throughout the day:
- University Main Building (Museum Avenue) to Talybont Student Residences
- University Main Building (Museum Avenue) to Heath Park Campus
- University Main Building (Park Place) to Queen's Buildings/Trevithick
Please note that the Heath Park Bus will also call at Talybont on its way back to Main Building.
We aim to provide an accessible environment for all applicants, students and visitors. If you or any member of your party have special requirements we will accommodate additional requirements.
Heath Park Campus Schools
Parking is very limited at the Heath Park Campus so we recommend using our free shuttle bus from the front of Main Building, where you will register your attendance on arrival.
Saturday Open Days
Please note, due to NHS regulations, the Dental Hospital, where the School of Dentistry is based, is not open on weekends. Therefore, there will be no tours of the School of Dentistry itself on Saturday Open Days, but there will be a variety of activities and talks.
Shuttle buses will be available from Museum Avenue at Main Building from 09:00-15:00 to take visitors to the Heath Park Campus. The last bus to leave Main Building will be 15:00 and the last bus to return from the Heath Park Campus at 16:30.
