Free shuttle bus services

Talybont Residences and Sports Training Village and Heath Park Campus (via Heath Park West)

Free shuttle buses will be available from Main Building (Museum Avenue), Cathays Park Campus, for those who wish to visit Talybont Residences and Sports Training Village and the Heath Park Campus.

At peak times, there may be a queue for these services, both on the inbound and outbound routes. Please allow extra time for your journey (especially on Friday 26 June when traffic is expected to be very busy due to a concert being held nearby)

Route 1: Main Building (Museum Avenue), Cathays Park Campus to the Heath Park Campus (including Heath Park West), via Talybont Residences and the Sports Training Village

A free service runs throughout the day from 08:45.

Friday 26 June: Due to road closures in place later in the day, we will run a slightly shorter service. The last bus will depart Main Building (Museum Avenue), Cathays Park Campus at 15:00 and the Heath Park Campus at 15:20.

Saturday 27 June: The last bus will depart Main Building (Museum Avenue), Cathays Park Campus at 15:00 and the Heath Park Campus at 16:20

Route:

  1. Main Building (Museum Avenue) Cathays Park Campus, CF10 3AT
  2. Talybont Residences and Sports Training Village
  3. Heath Park Campus (via Heath Park West)

The return journey will visit the same stops in reverse.

If you wish to visit Talybont after the last shuttle bus has departed, a walking route is shown on the Open Day map. However, please note the last entry to visit the residences is at 15:45.

Queen's and Trevithick Buildings

Route 2: Centre for Student Life to the Queen’s and Trevithick Buildings (for the Schools of Engineering and Physics, and Astronomy)

A free shuttle bus service runs throughout the day from 09:00. The last bus departs the Centre for Student Life at 15:15 and Trevithick and Queen’s Buildings at 16:00.
