In addition to the facilities provided by individual Academic Schools, we offer centrally-located social and study facilities to both taught and research postgraduate students.

Events

The Students’ Union via its Vice President Postgraduate and the Postgraduate Association offer a dedicated programme of events to bring together the postgraduate community both during the autumn welcome week and during the year.

Postgraduate study zones

Study zones for postgraduate taught and research students are available on both Cathays and Heath Park campuses. Access is via your Cardiff University ID card.

At Heath Park, the combined NHS staff and Postgraduate Study Zone is on the second floor of the Main Hospital Building and is available 24/7. The Cathays Park Postgraduate Study Zone  is on the Colum Drive site and is open until midnight during semester.

In addition to PCs, a study area and kitchen facilities are available in both locations.
