HCT402: Enhanced Maternity Care

This module provides a comprehensive exploration of enhanced maternity care, supporting students to develop the enhanced knowledge and skills required to recognise deterioration and respond to the needs of women who are critically unwell in maternity settings.

Students will develop their ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate complex care using current evidence, while considering human factors, ethical and legal frameworks, and the diverse needs of women and families. This is a distance learning module and will be delivered exclusively online through a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning.
