Tri-University Annual Conference:
Towards a post-pandemic sustainable World

7-8 October 2021

Call for papers and proposals

The Tri-university annual conference is a joint initiative of Cardiff Business School, Newcastle University Business School and School of Management of Xiamen University since 2015. The conference will be hosted by Cardiff Business School and will take place virtually on 7-8 October 2021.

The objective of this conference is to provide a platform for research collaboration and strengthen interactions between the three participating institutions. In addition to the presentation and discussion of research papers and projects, we will also explore further cooperation in teaching, learning, and administrative training in the future.

The theme of the conference is “towards a post-pandemic sustainable world”. This reflects the global challenges that our society is currently facing, including the pandemic, climate changes, disruptive technology innovation (e.g., blockchain and AI), national and global economic inequality. Meeting these challenges requires both continued national efforts and international collaborations on sustainable development.

While we welcome submissions related to the conference theme, we also seek papers from other areas of research from accounting, economics, finance, business, logistics and operations research, management, marketing, strategy, and tourism. In addition to regular sessions, we will also have dedicated PhD sessions. Therefore, we encourage PhD students to submit their research papers.

Please note that we only accept manuscripts in English.

Keynote speaker
