Deloitte placement up for grabs

Cardiff Business School and Deloitte Consulting Switzerland are offering undergraduate students the opportunity to secure a one year placement in Zurich for 2017.

This is the second year that the School has partnered with Deloitte. Four students were selected through the 2016 application process and flew to Switzerland in August to begin their placement.

The programme offers up to 10 students the opportunity to gain valuable hands on work experience as a Management Consultant with one of the world’s largest employers.

Successful candidates will take on roles in areas such as Finance Consulting, Strategy & Operations Consulting, Human Capital, Actuarial & Advanced Analytics (AAA) or Technology Consultancy. They will benefit from working with a leading global company to develop their professional skills and experiences, contributing to their future employability.

The placements will run from September 2017 to August 2018 Successful applicants will benefit from an attractive salary and support to find suitable accommodation and manage the logistics of living abroad.

Prior to commencing the placement year the successful candidates will also be provided with the opportunity to attend a bespoke Cardiff University Languages for All German course.

An information session has been arranged for students to meet Nathan Jones (Director, Deloitte Consulting) & Sandra Böttcher (Talent Acquisition) who will provide an overview of the programme, offer hints and tips for the application process and answer any questions students raise. This session is on Friday 14 October 2016, 4.30pm-5.30pm (Room P21, Aberconway Building).
