Design units

You will work in small groups called ‘design units’ under the guidance of a Unit Leader. They will be an experienced tutor in research and architectural design. Units include:

  • Unit A: EMUVE Lewisham 2021. Dr. Federico Wulff Barreiro
  • Unit B: Synergetic landscapes. Dr Marie Davidova
  • Unit C: Urban Commons. Dr. Giorgio Talocci
  • Unit D: EMUVE2. Dr. Noha Nasser

Full unit descriptions are available in the MA AD Handbook.

My professional skills and architecture knowledge improved a lot thanks to the learning process. Having an in-depth understanding of the background of a project, taking full account of multi-dimensional factors in architectural design, as well as identifying research issues and objectives meant the process was distinctive from what I had learned at my original university.
