Clinical Practice and Placement Details for Student, Mentors and Staff

A new web area designed to provide easily accessible clinical practice and placement information for students, mentors and staff has been launched by Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies.
The Clinical Practice and Placement Support Unit (CPPSU) web pages are packed with all the information students need before embarking on a clinical placement.
There are over 450 clinical placements across South East Wales which the CPPSU oversee.
The website is designed to support mentors and students in practice by providing quick access to information about the activities of the CPPSU and providing resources which help Support Learning in Practice.
Links include information on how to find out more about the team who we are and how to contact us, placement information (including contact details, public transport information), mentor information and frequently asked questions
Kay Greenough said: "The introduction of clinical practice and placement information for students and mentors being available 24/7 is a huge improvement in the availability of information for students, staff and mentors - including information about the different placements offered within Cardiff & Vale University Health Board and Anerin Bevan Health Board. We do hope students, staff and mentors will take full advantage of this new facility."
