We are happy to welcome school groups to Cathays Park campus throughout the academic year.
Campus visits
Campus visits are a great way for students to explore the campus, learn more about student life and ask any questions they may have about the university.
During a campus visit students will receive the following:
- two presentations touching on aspects of student life and experiences
- a student-led campus tour
We run our campus visits throughout term time, with the option of a morning or afternoon session.

Open Days
Our next Open Day events will take place on Friday 5 July and Saturday 6 July 2024.
Open Days are the perfect opportunity for your students to experience first-hand what student life at Cardiff is like, speak to our academic and professional services staff, and get their questions answered.

Academic schools
Our academic schools often run on-campus events for both teachers and students at various key stages. Search our school and college engagement activities.
As well as University Open Days special information events are held by the School of Medicine. This allows prospective students, applicants, teachers and career advisors to gain a more in-depth understanding of the school's courses and the facilities on offer.
