Academic quality and standards

We operate a quality and standards system that covers a range of activities, processes and procedures to give the highest priority to the continuous enhancement of the quality of our programmes and the educational experience provided for our students.

External and internal audit

External review

Information is available regarding our results in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. We also have a number of quality marks that validate our position as a university operating at the highest quality standards.

External Examiners are required to submit an External Examiner's Report to the University on an annual basis.

Internal review

Qualitative data on the quality and standard of our learning and teaching is available in the reports approved by the Academic Standards and Quality Committee.
