Expectations

By attending one of our part-time short courses you are becoming a student at Cardiff University which means you can expect a number of things from the University and a number of things are expected of you.

What we expect from you

During your part-time study, you will be expected to follow some rules of behaviour that apply to all students at the University.

These Rules of Behaviour for students are a clear set of principle that we expect all our students to follow. If you are found to have breached any of these rules you will be subject to the Student Behaviour Procedure which outlines the University's disciplinary process.

These rules apply to all students studying at the University. You should carefully consider which rules are relevant to you as a student with Continuing Professional Education. If you would like to speak to us about these rules please get in touch.

What you can expect from us

Our Student Charter sets out the services that you can expect while you are studying at the University.

We have developed the Student Charter in partnership with students, the Student's Union and the University. It gives details of the roles, responsibilities and expectations we all have to ensure you have a high-quality experience at the University.
