Distance/e-Learning
Our courses allow you to gain a qualification and experience a university education while continuing your employment or other responsibilities.
Distance learning has a number of advantages:
- It gives you the flexibility to study in any convenient location with a suitable internet connection, wherever this is in the World.
- It can allow you to browse and review material, consolidating your learning as you begin to focus on new information and skills.
- It allows you some flexibility to choose when to study in preparing to meet the course deadlines.
- It can be a convenient way of acquiring a postgraduate qualification even if you have irregular work schedules or family responsibilities and tends to be particularly convenient for busy healthcare professionals.
As a student on one of our distance/e-learning courses you will have full access to the university computing service and specifically tailored library services. An extensive collection of electronic resources such as ebooks and journals will be available at your fingertips with an internet connection.
