Visiting and membership

You're welcome to visit most of our libraries and use the resources within the library. Check the access arrangements to each library on our Locations and opening hours page.

If you wish to borrow books you'll need to join and become a library member. We are currently offering the following memberships:

Information about visiting our libraries

  • You must not visit any Cardiff University Library if you have symptoms of or have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been told to self-isolate by the NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect (TTP) service.
  • When entering any of our libraries you will need to scan a Cardiff University QR code or fill in a paper form to register Test, Trace and Protect information to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • It is strongly recommended to wear a face covering whenever you are in our indoor public spaces.
