About
The Central Square Library is only available to staff and students from the School of Journalism, Media and Culture due to restricted building access placed on us from the building owners.
All other Cardiff University library members can request items from Central Square Library using LibrarySearch to collect at any university library. Any items may also be collected from and returned to Central Square reception during staffed hours (08:00- 17:00 Monday to Friday).
Central Square Library is located on the ground floor, mezzanine and first floor of the building.

Ground floor | Quiet study area, self-issue terminal |

Mezzanine | Periodical and DVDs. Wellbeing Collection. At least three months run of physical copies of UK broadsheet and tabloid newspapers not accessible via PressReader, plus the South Wales Argus, Echo and Western Mail. |
First floor | Monograph / book collection, self-issue terminal, theses, library enquiry desk, open access PCs and loanable laptops. |

Access
Central Square Library is only available to staff and students from the School of Journalism, Media and Culture.
- there are accessible toilets on each floor of the building
- there is a ramp to the lift which is located to the left of the reception desk
