International engagement

Senior midwifery professionals visited midwives in the rural north of Namibia.

We take a strategic lead in ensuring the quality of public healthcare is strengthened through a network of mutually beneficial partnerships across the world.

Together we are tackling research challenges and providing opportunities to enhance the learning experience for our students and staff, to inspire future generations of healthcare professionals across the world.

We are a World Health Organisation Collaborating centre for Midwifery development, strengthening midwifery throughout Europe. We also participate in a number of other global partnerships with institutions of higher education in different parts of the world.

Global partnerships

This international project is funded by Erasmus plus and builds on previous work undertaken with Kamuzu College of Nursing, Malawi.
