A CITER Workshop on Ageing was held on Wednesday 22 March 2017 in the School of Biosciences, Cardiff University. The event was attended by approximately forty staff, students and members of the general public and covered a wide spectrum of ageing rsearch. The event was organised by Dr Ryan Moseley (School of Dentistry) and Dr Rebecca Hemming (School of Healthcare Sciences).

A keynote lecture was given from the ever engaging Professor Richard Faragher (University of Brighton) who presented his work on mechanisms of cellular and organismal ageing. Diverse presentations were also given from CITER members including Dr Adam Midgley (School of Medicine), Dr Jennifer Davies (School of Healthcare Sciences), Dr Emma Kidd (School of Pharmacy) as well as Dr Charles Evans (School of Psychology) and Professor Peter Elwood (School of Medicine) covering ageing topics from wound healing, osteoarthritis, Alzheimer's and healthy living.
