PHRMY students visit to 3M

A group of our 3rd year MPharm students recently undertook a day visit to the 3M manufacturing site in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
The visit provided the students with an opportunity to meet with 3M staff to learn about the job roles occupied by pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry. 3M also provided a tour of their manufacturing facility so students could observe how tablets, capsules and inhaled products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
In the words of our 3rdyear students:
"The tour gave us the opportunity to help consolidate what we've learnt at Uni" and
"The visit has inspired me to consider a career in industry."
