"Our achievements in REF are recognition of the important contributions and impact our research is making across a wide variety of areas." The excellent REF result follows on from a number of other recent successes for the School, such as doubling the intake of undergraduate students in less than 5 years, significant investment in the School by the University and the recruitment of several new early career academics and University Research Fellows. Prof Allemann added "Our success has been built on the hard work and dedication of all our staff, and this is a very exciting time for the School as we move into a new era of growth for Cardiff Chemistry.
