The Cardiff Catalysis Institute is in the process of establishing a new world class electron microscopy facility housing a selection of state-of-the-art imaging and analytical instruments.
The Cardiff Catalysis Institute Electron Microscopy Facility aims to deliver expertise and capability in nanomaterial imaging, analysis and characterisation facilitating new approaches to catalyst design and synthesis.
The £9M custom-built facility is funded by support and investment from the Welsh Government, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), HEFCW and the Wolfson Foundation.
