Research groups

The Centre for Trials Research is a UKCRC-registered academic clinical trials unit, and our research groups and professional teams bring together the expertise needed to design, deliver and support high-quality trials.

This includes a dedicated qualitative research group, alongside specialists in statistics, trial management, routine data, and qualitative and process evaluation. These are supported by teams in data and technology, quality assurance and pharmacovigilance, and professional services, including communications, operations and research support.

Together, they provide a coordinated, practical infrastructure that enables robust, participant-centred research to improve health and wellbeing.
