We bring together world-leading expertise in brain mapping with the very latest in brain imaging and brain stimulation.
Our vision is to be an international reference site for innovation in neuroimaging methods and best practice in their application and interpretation, providing more sensitive and specific understanding of the brain. This will optimise diagnosis, prognosis, treatment development and patient monitoring, elevating the value of neuroimaging for patients worldwide.
As a hub for neuroscience, we house multiple brain imaging facilities under one roof. We play a pivotal role in the global endeavour to better understand the causes of neurological and psychiatric conditions such as dementia, schizophrenia and multiple sclerosis, so as to yield vital clues for the development of better treatments.
We run a programme of events that showcases our research and engages our students, staff and the wider public.
