Our PhD programme
The PhD programme will prepare you either for a career as a leading academic scholar or to excel as a business practitioner or senior public policy decision maker.

Funding
Via the Welsh Graduate School for the Social Sciences based in Cardiff University, each year we can offer ESRC PhD Studentships in Business, Management and Economics.

Training
We offer a comprehensive range of training options for PhD students, including a combination of general and specialised modules, alongside continuous PhD Developmental Seminars
Students who already have a strong grasp of research methods may be admitted straight into the research phase of their PhD.
If a student needs to build up their research methods background, we will provide comprehensive training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as in subject-specific themes relevant to their PhD topic.
