Mr David Selway

David is an experienced Non-Executive Director with expertise in Digital and IT, business strategy and business transformation having achieved chartered status in two separate fields (IT/Digital and Marketing).

He has worked within a range of sectors including aerospace and defence, marine, power generation and infrastructure. Prior to embarking on his NED career, he led Rolls-Royce’s digital business unit.

He spent his early career with Ferranti and GEC Marconi designing and delivering complex IT solutions. He joined Rolls-Royce in 2002 and shortly after led a major digital transformation program that enabled significant growth in Rolls-Royce’s civil aerospace business.

David held several senior executive positions with Rolls-Royce and was part of the R2 Data Labs leadership team which led the acceleration of Rolls-Royce’s digital strategy.

David holds several NED roles, in the private sector with Amey, the public sector with NHS Wales and the 3rd sector with Bron Afon Community Housing. His current roles cover audit and assurance, digital and information governance and service and performance. He also chairs the NHS all Wales independent member digital network.
