MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
This innovative MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, developed in collaboration with health care professionals, is designed to prepare clinicians to undertake advanced practice roles.
Modern healthcare practice has seen traditional professional boundaries change with advanced practitioners in nursing, midwifery and allied health professions increasingly expected to deliver complex care traditionally delivered by doctors.
This programme aims to advance practice through facilitating the individual’s capability to extend their competence to advanced practitioner level through education, clinical experience and support from a Designated Supervising Medical Practitioner (DSMP).
Course fees can be found at www.cardiff.ac.uk/pg/fees
Please note: The fees quoted are per year. For part-time programmes, fees will be payable for each subsequent year of study. For an approximate total cost, therefore, fees should be multiplied by the number of years of study anticipated.
Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice
To support the development of practitioners aiming to work at advanced practitioner level within practice who already hold a Masters level qualification, the Advanced Clinical Practice Portfolio is available as a stand-alone Postgraduate Certificate.
A two-year part-time programme, the Postgraduate Certificate is run in conjunction with the MSc, and you will be required to complete the Advanced Clinical Practice Portfolio as detailed above.
