MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
This innovative MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, developed in collaboration with health care professionals, is designed to prepare clinicians to undertake advanced practice roles.
Modern healthcare practice has seen traditional professional boundaries change with advanced practitioners in nursing, midwifery and allied health professions increasingly expected to deliver complex care traditionally delivered by doctors.
This programme aims to advance practice through facilitating the individual’s capability to extend their competence to advanced practitioner level through education, clinical experience and support from a Designated Supervising Medical Practitioner (DSMP).
